Born in New York City, grew up in Millburn, NJ, Ellie Yatco studied Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic design and Digital art as well as Community Centered Design at the University of Vermont. Ellie’s mediums range from print design, photography, motion graphics, and generative design. Her projects are defined by using bold, minimalist designs, and dynamic typography in order to create stories emphasizing themes about music, sustainable fashion, and small, often insignificant personal experiences. 

Ellie’s love for fashion and culture growing up has changed through her college career as she learned about fast fashion’s role in climate change. Going to school at UVM has shaped her view on consumption and production within the fashion industry, which then transformed her career aspirations.

Ellie hopes to combine her love for visual story telling and design with her passion for environmentalism to make an impact within the fashion industry.
